Guanlong and Yutyrannus are now UNLOCKED!

 The stretch goals are off and running- two more figures have been unlocked recently with Guanlong and now Yutyrannus!

Guanlong wucaii

One of the smaller figures being offered, Guanlong comes in at 8" / 20cm long, with 19 points of articulation including a bendable tail and base. Add-on price: $32 (US)/ $35 (INT) 

 Yutyrannus huali

The Yutyrannus figure measures 16"/ 41cm in length and features 22 points of articulation as well as three sets of alternate feet, base and bendable tail end section. Add-on price: $73(US)/ $76 (INT)

Both of these figures can now be added to your pledge via the 'add-on' options, which leads up to the next topic...

How to select 'add-ons' for your pledge

The option to select add-ons for your existing pledge is a new feature to Kickstarter since our last campaign in 2019. Since my interface is a bit different than it is for backers, I was unable to see the process that this requires. However thankfully, backer Faelrin posted an excellent very helpful response to this question:

If you can't access the imgur album (again it will also be on the DTF, in the BotM Tyrannosaur thread, first post on first page, scroll down to the FAQ section), then here is an explanation:

Go to manage your pledge, then select change your pledge. From there you can just keep your pledge the same, and re-select it. After that should be a page that shows up after selecting your pledge with add-ons. You just select the ones you want and it will increase your pledge automatically. In the past one had to manually add to your pledge total before kickstarter implemented this system.'

 Now that this big feathered boy is unlocked, here's the first look at the amazing new art by Shannon Beaumont who's found a nice warm patch of ground among the snowy terrain. 

 And follow up on yesterday's update- I've decided to send an update whenever a new item is unlocked so that none of the backers miss out on the opportunity to add the item as soon as it becomes available and thus helping to unlock more stretch goals sooner.

Also, I'm working on setting up new galleries to view for each prototype figure- I'll be following up on this in the next update.

Let's keep it going- we're doing great so far. Let people know about the newly unlocked items and please keep that Kickstarter link going around. Dilong is next!

1/6th scale Dilong paradoxus is UNLOCKED!

Congrats everyone, we have unlocked the 1/6th scale Dilong paradoxus action figure! It is now selectable from the 'add-ons' menu to include in your pledge. Add-on price: $53(US)/ $55 (INT)

If you want to bypass the T.rex figures, please choose the 'Base Shipping for Add-Ons Only' pledge tier and then select your add-ons.

The Dilong figure is the only Tyrannosaur Series figure in the 1/6th scale and features 21 points of articulation plus three sets of alternate feet, base, posing rod accessories, and a bendable tail. 

Dilong scales perfectly with the Raptor figures and is a great compliment to that series.

The figure measures 12"/ 30.5cm in length. Dilong finishes out the wave 1 figures and now we move on to wave 2. Bistahieversor is the next goal at $265,000!

And here we have a look at another new package art reveal, once again by the talented Shannon Beaumont, for the scrappy Dilong! The unique coloring was inspired by the Chinese Golden Pheasant. 

Adding Stretch Goals

And for those having issues adding the stretch goals to your pledge tier, backer Topios has discovered some helpful info on this:

'Hey, general message for people who have issues adding add-ons using the menu:

Some browsers aren't playing nice with that feature, Firefox for example tend to "erase" the things you add (though check your email after you've confirmed and it looks like it's gone back to what you had before. It might have gone through without updating the screen). Chrome seems to not have these issues, I can't say about others but I wouldn't be surprised if they can also have issues.'

Juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex has been unlocked!

Congrats everyone, our first stretch goal has been unlocked- the 1/18th scale Tyrannosaurus rex juvenile! 

This lanky fella fella also includes interchangeable feet (flat, toe standing, and closed toes), a base, and new 'display friendly' lower leg clamp accessories as well as a standard rod for quick pick-up and play. The final feet will be painted of course.

New Pledge Tier-  'Base Shipping for Add-Ons Only'

I've added a new pledge tier to cover the base shipping for any add-on items- $10(US) and $20 (INT). So for example if you only want to pledge for a stretch goal, such as the juvenile T. rex here, you can simply pledge at this tier level and then select the item as your add-on. This tier level will support unlimited add-on items so if for some reason you wanted everything except for the adult T. rex figures ( I won't judge), you can easily get them all.

Now that we have our first stretch goal unlocked and the Base Shipping tier established, I will likely be lumping the unlocked item announcements together just to reduce the number of updates as I try to aim for no more than two per day. Just keep an eye on the page as the stretch goals open up. They will be added to the 'add-on' selection pretty much immediately.
